OF TURKEY, PUMPKINS, AND AUTUMN...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to come together and give thanks. It is a time to share, to give, and to count and be grateful for our blessings.

Today, I dig deep into my thoughts to scan through the pages of my life. What do I have to be thankful for?

I'm grateful for the gift of love, family, friends, good health, and for life's simple joys. I live further down the country map from where my family is, and I am always comforted by the stories of their success, the sound of their laughter, and news of good health. My friends have become my extended family in this part of the city, and I am humbled to have these amazing individuals who stick by me, come rain or shine.

I'm thankful for all the things that my job has given me and my daughter. We have enough to get us by everyday, a roof to protect us, clothes to keep us warm, books and gears to feed our mind, and a little extra to appreciate the wonderful things around us.

I am grateful for everything that I have, those I do not possess, and the little blessings that may be on the way.

Lots of love to every grateful heart around the world. Enjoy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a time to eat. I started my morning cutting the flyers I made for the Thanksgiving special this Sunday. The dinner spread includes turkey, roast beef, and ham at the carving station.

Thanksgiving is a time for merrymaking. Speaking of turkey, I'm so excited to start my weekend with a party! I can't wait to see my girls at the Turkey Lurkey party at Eagles, hosted by Zhaun Ortega of MIX FM's Confessions of a Partyphile.
