STYLE ORIGIN: HIGH STREET FASHION SHOW

High heels on, handbag and camera ready. So off I went for a fashion fix and refreshment at Abreeza-Ayala Mall.

A quick pose for the camera with my daughter, Tatiana.
Ayala Malls has always shaped the lifestyle of Filipinos, and the introduction of its fashion series continue to reinforce its position as the premiere lifestyle and shopping destination.

A bunch of fun. Apple, Sandy, Chiche, and April.
With much fanfare and a healthy dose of hype, Ayala Malls Style Origin has redefined and elevated the retail experience through a reverent lineup of unique lifestyle initiatives, starting off with its much celebrated High Street Fashion Show.

Chunky accessories, glammed up purses, travel essentials, labelled shoes, and wardrobe staples… The event featured a perfect mix of international and local brands housed in Abreeza, giving everyone a preview of this season’s trends and looks.

A series of refreshingly upbeat, fun, and savvy designs paraded on the runway, most of which were youthful renditions to the usual corporate, athletic, chic, and casual wearables.

And yes, soft to touch silk and chiffon are still in, and so are mullet skirts, palazzo pants, and abstract prints. As for accessories, it’s still the gold standard with a twist of vintage and tempered hues.

Proudly Davao. Cheyser (The Walking Recessionista) models for Soul.

And adorable kids and teens made a cameo onstage, too! Cute!

Musical guest, Never The Strangers, entertained the audience with their signature hits "Alive" and "Moving Closer" (the Closeup theme song).
